Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information P11 (“P11”, “we”, “us”) collects through p11ops.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. We’ve tried to keep it short and in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us at [email protected].
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request an ops audit through the form on our site, we collect:
- your name;
- your work email address;
- your company name or store URL;
- the services you tick under “What do you need help with?” (optional); and
- anything you write in the “Details” box (optional).
If you email us directly, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and anything you attach.
Please don’t include sensitive information (such as financial account numbers, health information or passwords) in the form or in emails to us.
Information collected automatically when you submit the form
To protect the form from spam and abuse and to keep a record of your request, we also store:
- the date and time of your request;
- the page you submitted it from;
- your browser’s user-agent string (the browser and operating system it reports); and
- your approximate country, which our hosting provider derives from your IP address.
We do not store your IP address with your request. To limit repeated submissions, we keep a one-way, shortened hash of your IP address as a counter that expires automatically after one hour.
Information collected when you browse
Like most websites, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We also use privacy-focused, cookieless analytics to count visits (see section 4).
2. How we use it
- To respond to your audit request, schedule a call and follow up about it.
- To prepare for the audit and, if we work together, to provide our services.
- To keep the site and form secure, and to prevent spam, fraud and abuse.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To keep reasonable business records and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. We don’t use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. How we use email
We use the email address you give us to reply to your request and to communicate with you about it. Submitting the form does not sign you up to a newsletter or marketing list. If we ever send you marketing email, it will identify P11 as the sender, include a working way to unsubscribe, and we will honor unsubscribe requests promptly, in line with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act.
6. How long we keep it
- Audit requests stored by our website are deleted automatically 24 months after they are submitted.
- Emails, including the copy of your request delivered to our inbox, are kept for as long as we need them to respond, to work with you if you become a client, and to keep reasonable business records, and then deleted.
- Spam-check counters expire after one hour.
- Analytics are kept only in aggregate form by Cloudflare.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see section 8).
7. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect personal information. The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, form submissions are checked for spam before they are stored, and access to stored requests and our email is limited to the accounts we use to run P11. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know and access the personal information we have about you, including the categories of information, its sources, why we use it and who we disclose it to;
- delete personal information we collected from you;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we don’t sell or share it); and
- not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We won’t deny you services, charge you a different price or provide a different level of service because you made a privacy request.
We are happy to honor these requests wherever you live.
How to make a request
Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request” and tell us what you’d like us to do. To protect your information, we’ll verify your request by confirming it from the email address you used with us, and we may ask for a little more information if needed. You can use an authorized agent to make a request for you; we may ask the agent for proof of your permission and ask you to confirm your identity with us. We aim to respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we’ll tell you why and how much longer we need.
9. California notice
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), may give you the rights described in section 8. In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information, from the sources and for the purposes described above:
- Identifiers
- Name, email address, and (for spam prevention only) a short-lived hash of your IP address.
- Professional or commercial information
- Company name or store URL, the services you’re interested in, and the details you choose to share.
- Internet or other electronic network activity
- Pages viewed, the page a request came from, browser user-agent, and aggregate analytics.
- Geolocation data
- Approximate country, derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise location.
We disclose these categories to our service providers (Cloudflare and Google) for the business purposes described in section 3. We do not sell or share personal information, we have not done so in the past 12 months, and we have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of anyone under 16. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA.
10. Children’s privacy
Our site and services are meant for businesses and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. If we make material changes, we’ll make that clear on this page.
